D-Tools Podcast #23: ‘What’s the Buzz’ About… ADI’s 1Plan Service
ADI has launched 1Plan, a unified business unit combining Access Networks' design/configuration services, Parasol's remote network monitoring, and Control4 Assist's remote support into a single brand that supports both residential and commercial installations, offering quick integrator certification and aiming to simplify complex commercial network projects, with a presentation scheduled at ISC West 2026.
ADI has announced a new business unit called 1Plan, which combines the existing networking design and configuration service from Access Networks, the remote network monitoring service from Parasol, and the Control4 Assist manufacturer-based remote support all under the same umbrella.
Willy Williams, business development manager for 1Plan, explained the new offering in the latest episode of the D-Tools “What’s the Buzz” podcast.
Williams points out that 1Plan takes some of the services that dealers are already taking advantage of from various ADI brands and merges them into a single brand. For example, from the Access Networks standpoint, the company has already been providing service assistance for its wireless cloud controller called ARCC, and designing, documenting, programming, and monitoring custom core networks using Access Networks hardware. Both of those services are now under the 1Plan umbrella, as is the Parasol remote network monitoring service and the Control4 Assist service.
“So, what 1Plan is taking the products from ADI and Snap that our partners know and love, and we are essentially managing the service of those products,” says Williams. He notes that the solution is not just restricted to a residential environment, but also is able to service commercial installations. He cited installations in multi-dwelling units, bars, restaurants, and even large stadiums and arenas that 1Plan can service.
“A lot integrators think they can’t do the commercial network, so it never even shows up on the table. We want more of our partners to understand that when you get that commercial job that makes you feel a little bit uneasy, let us help you,” he advises.
Integrators who are interested in the service do not have to undergo a long training process. In fact, Williams says in some cases the integrator’s team can be certified and ready within one hour.
The solution will be presented at ISC West 2026 in Las Vegas from March 25-27 in the ADI booth #12043. D-Tools will also be at the show in booth #1064.
